CRC 1678 Fellows Embark on Research Visits

The CRC 1678 is proud to announce financial support for research visits of three early career researchers as part of its annual fellowship program. These research visits aim to foster scientific collaboration and provide young scientists with access to outstanding expertise and facilities.

This year’s CRC 1678 Fellows are:

  • Thanina Chabane, who will be joining the lab of Prof. Markus Landthaler at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin. Prof. Landthaler’s group is renowned for its cutting-edge work in RNA biology and post-transcriptional regulation.
  • Lara Hitzemann and Carl Elias Kutzner, both heading to Zürich to collaborate with Prof. Paola Picotti at ETH Zürich. Prof. Picotti’s lab is a leader in proteomics and systems biology, offering a dynamic environment for exploring protein function and cellular mechanisms.

With the research visits we aim to nurture the next generation of researchers by enabling meaningful scientific exchange and hands-on experience in leading international labs.

We wish our fellows a productive and inspiring time during their visits!
