CRC 1678 Project Contributor Professor Dr. Kathrin Ulrich Appointed to New Professorship at Saarland University

The CRC 1678 is thrilled to share wonderful news: Professor Dr. Kathrin Ulrich, researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and key contributor to our collaborative efforts, has accepted an appointment to a W2 Professorship in Molecular Cell Biology (tenure track to W3) at Saarland University.

Starting October 1, 2025, Kathrin Ulrich will head the Molecular Cell Biology department within the Biology Division of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology. Her appointment represents a major career milestone and reflects her outstanding research contributions in molecular mechanisms of cellular regulation.

We congratulate Professor Ulrich on this exciting new chapter and celebrate her scientific achievements. It is a privilege to collaborate with her, and we wish her continued success at Saarland University and beyond.
